This e-learning module was created for new teachers who struggled with the process of planning a field study for their grade level. Through a needs assessment at the beginning of the school year, administration learned that 75% of new teachers at my school were either unaware of the process or unconfident in their ability to carry out the field study planning process. I created this self-paced training as a professional development opportunity for these new teachers to be completed as teachers are planning field studies throughout the year. After completing the course, 88% of new teachers felt confident in their ability to plan a field study.
